Professional stone restoration

Get your existing countertops cleaned and resealed. Our restoration and maintenance special includes replacement of your backsplash silicone, with a deep cleaning and resealing of your countertops. Additionally, should you have any chips or other previous damage in your existing countertops, our restoration team is remarkably skilled at repairing and reworking natural stone material.

Chips & Pits Repair

Over time, you may notice chips and nicks on the edges of high-traffic areas of your countertops. Although chips and pits can occur anywhere on the countertop surface, busy areas such as near the sink and primary food preparation areas are the most common spots for chips and pits to appear. A chipped countertop could develop into a more damaging, expensive crack, so it’s important to repair a chip as soon as you spot it. Repairing a chip is far less expensive than replacing the entire countertop! Our chips & pits repair service can make your countertops look brand new, so it’s a great service to consider for ongoing maintenance and also to refresh your countertops to sell your home.

Face Polish

Over many years of use, your countertops can begin to look dull, hazy and worn-out. Our professional restoration crew can make them look brand new again with our countertop face polish service. We will refinish your countertops using a special polishing technique that doesn’t give off the dust and mess that is typically associated with a countertop refinishing project.

Crack Repair

Regardless of the material, countertops can develop cracks for a variety of reasons including, water intrusion underneath the countertop slab, excessive weight or heat on the surface, poor installation of the cabinets below, etc. It is important to have a crack repaired as soon as you notice it, since a crack can quickly develop into more serious and expensive damage requiring replacement. With our crack repair service, we restore the countertops’ structural integrity, prevent the spread of any damage from the original crack, and blend the blemish into the original countertop pattern to make it less noticeable. Our service results in a virtually seamless match to the existing appearance of the countertop surface around the crack site, to essentially recreate the pre-damaged state.

Silicone Caulk Refinish

Caulking is used to seal the edges between each countertop to the wall behind or cabinet below. Ideally, the caulking is a similar or complimentary color to the countertop material, but over time, discoloration or shrinkage of the silicone can cause an unsightly countertop. Additionally, the silicone material can become difficult to clean, resulting in ugly stains. With our silicone caulk refinish, we refinish the old caulking to match any color of countertop. We can also replace it with our waterproof, flexible and mildew-resistant silicone caulking material, as needed.

Cuts for New Appliances

Upgrading and updating your kitchen with new appliances is a great way to increase the value of your home for yourself or to sell it. But the size and shape of a new appliance may not fit with the existing limitations of space caused by your countertops. We offer this service to make modifications and adjustments to your existing counters, to seamlessly fit your new appliances, from refrigerators to cooktops, even to add a down-draft (pop-up hood). It’s far less expensive than replacing the whole kitchen, but the result is just as custom-fitted and beautiful.

Cleaning & Sealing

One of the most important things you can do to keep your countertops in their best shape is to properly clean and seal the countertop material. Since porous surfaces (as most countertop stone is) can become stained or bacteria-ridden if they are not sealed properly, sealing your countertops is important for their visual appeal as well as your family’s health. Our cleaning and sealing process protects natural stone, caulking, and more. If your countertops are natural stone, we recommend that you have them resealed about once annually to maintain optimal protection.

Natural Stone Blemish Removal

Porous surfaces like natural stone can become stained with oil and grease, resulting in unsightly blemishes. While we recommend that you reseal your natural stone countertops resealed annually, you may need to have a special blemish removal service if you notice a stain or blemish appearing. This blemish removal service could stop a much larger problem, like a stain, from developing and maintains the beautiful appeal of your natural stone countertops.

Adding Faucet Holes

Adding Faucet holes and new cutouts specific to the dimensions needed to add new fixtures to your countertops is a breeze. Need to add a soap dispenser? No problem! This service allows us to completely customize your existing countertops and functional areas to best serve your needs in the kitchen.

Seam Repair

There are a couple of factors that affect the seams in between the countertop slabs, thus affecting which seams exist in high-use and busy areas and may need more maintenance. The surface area of the countertop material slab/remnant and the configuration of the countertop pieces are the two most important. The seams between them, which are filled with an epoxy-resin blend should keep a strong, tight bond. However, they may need more than just a refinish at times. The home may settle or new construction nearby may cause compromise to the integrity of the seam’s bond, requiring seam repair service. We use different seam repair techniques based on the type of stone of your countertops: resin that is cured and polished for natural stone, removal and replacement with a color-matched material and sometimes, a custom-mixed epoxy to repair the damaged area.

Sink Upgrade

Your sink is the most high-traffic spot in your whole kitchen, and there comes a time when a replacement or upgrade is either necessary or desired. We can assist with cutting your existing (or new) countertops to fit your new sink. A current trend in kitchen upgrades is to replace the sink with a double sink or farmhouse sink, and doing so will require you to expand the space in the countertops to accommodate the larger sink. Our sink upgrade service is just what you need! We will cut and finish the edges to expand and fit the new sink, without damaging the existing countertops surrounding it.

Professional Stone Restoration

Remounting Fallen Sink

Some homeowners with an undermount sink will experience the frustrating issue of the sink separating from the granite or stone countertop, ‘falling’ (or sagging) down into the cupboards below and creating a big risk for sudden damage. We can remount the sink to correct the problem so that you can get back to using your sink without worry!
